Join me, Bethany McCue, for an unforgettable 3-night, 4-day sewing retreat in the serene and inspiring setting of RobCo Retreat Center in Springfield, TN. This retreat is designed to be a low key, relaxing opportunity to catch up on projects, start some new ones, get sewing support, be inspired by other sewists and make new sewing friends while enjoying good, home cooked food in the woods of Middle Tennessee. It doesn’t get any better than that!

What is an Open Sew Retreat?

An open sew retreat is a relaxed, self-directed sewing getaway designed for makers who want uninterrupted time to focus on their own projects. Instead of structured classes or planned group projects, you’ll bring your personal works-in-progress, fabrics, and supplies and sew at your own pace. Each attendee has a dedicated sewing table, with shared ironing and cutting stations provided. This laid-back format is perfect for finishing WIPs, starting something new, and enjoying creative time, community, and a peaceful retreat environment. ✂️✨

Your Retreat Includes

• Comfortable Lodging: 3 nights and 4 days of shared accommodations in a welcoming retreat center.

• Delicious Meals: Enjoy pre-planned, home-cooked brunches and dinners prepared onsite and served family style.

• Open Sew Time: Relax, socialize, or work on your own projects in a beautiful, welcoming space.

• A Supportive Community of Makers: Leave with new friends, new skills, and unforgettable memories.

• Sewing Support: Bethany will be there to offer sewing support throughout the retreat.

What You’ll Need to Bring

• Your sewing machine (with power cord and foot pedal)

• Basic sewing tools (scissors, pins/clips, seam ripper, needles, etc.)

• All project materials (fabric, patterns, kits, batting, etc.)

• Thread for your projects

• Specialty rulers or tools you prefer to use

• All you need is your own sewing machine & projects!

Payment Details

• $300 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot

• $300 balance due 45 days before the retreat

• Final invoice emailed on May 4, 2026

• Registration is not complete until final payment is submitted
